If you have adopted a cat from MEOW and need to return it, you must make an appointment. Please call us during business hours or e-mail us.

The adoption process takes at least 1 hour. Please allow plenty of time when coming to the shelter so that neither your decision nor the adoption process needs to be rushed.

From I-5: Take 520 East exit (Bellevue/Kirkland). Take Lake Washington Blvd NE exit towards Kirkland. Follow for approximately 1 mile. When road forks, veer right onto Lakeview Drive. Lakeview Drive becomes NE 68th St. Just past the railroad bridge, turn left into Houghton Village (PCC Market). MEOW is at the back of the building on the left, under a bright red awning.

From I-405 North: Take Exit #17, NE 70th Place. Turn left off exit, then left again at light onto NE 70th Place. 70th curves down the hill and becomes NE 68th St. Pass through the intersection at 6th Street. Turn right into Houghton Village just PAST the PCC sign. MEOW is at the back of the building on the left, under a bright red awning.

From I-405 South: Take Exit #17, NE 70th Place. Turn left. 70th curves down the hill and becomes NE 68th St. Pass through the intersection at 6th Street. Turn right into Houghton Village just PAST the PCC sign. MEOW is at the back of the building on the left, under a bright red awning.
